I came across some great quotes this week:
“Christian brotherhood is not an ideal which we must realize; it is rather a reality created by God in Christ in which we may participate.”
~Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Life Together (from Andrea at The Flourishing Mother)
“I must consume the abundance of moments now.”
~Ann Voskamp
“Petition moves to thanksgiving, thanksgiving to gratitude and gratitude to adoration where we look to the giver and are more than thankful for His gifts. Praise and adoration leads to more petition and petition leads to more praise and adoration.”
~Rachel at Geek Unorthodox
What are your thoughts?
Re: your first quote.
Maybe people try to hard to change other people, or wait until they're nice enough or friendly enough.
If you keep your mind on your own responsibilities, do what is required of you, and keep a pleasant face on, you'll find that there's more brotherhood out there then you realized.
