Resignation’s Vision

life’s messy has a way of surprising

an unexpected gust of wind
and there goes my neatly ordered life
like so many pieces of paper

whoosh

aaaaaah!

now what?

(sigh)

flying things are pretty
as they start to settle
I see new possibilities

find deeper hope

and give thanks

for “random” gusts of wind

Sometimes I feel like I'm juggling papers in a windstorm with the three little boys and the spilled juice and my own sinfulness and my dirty fridge.
Thank you for this, I join you in my "AHhhh!"
I'm thankful that there's new hope in all things, even the messy. You remind me of things that are true! I'm so glad I read this today

Refreshing poem. Seeing new possibilities and deeper hope believing God is ordering my steps. Thanks

Me too! I'm busy writing down my trip to Mexico which would not have happened without a "gust of wind" that massively disordered my life. Good does come from upheavals, no matter how painful and frustrating they are.
